Valentine’s Day Activities

Whether you’re single or spoken for, Valentine’s Day is the day to remind your nearest and dearest just how much you love them. Here are some fun activity suggestions to sweeten the day for your Valentine…

Have a Picnic
Skip the reservation and enjoy your dinner with a picnic! The beach is a perfect place to enjoy your Valentine’s Day dinner while watching the sunset. If you prefer to stay in for a quiet evening, have the picnic indoors. With a blanket, candlelight and a good movie, anything will taste delicious!Screen Shot 2015-02-09 at 1.20.00 PM

Host a Party
Invite your friends/family over for a night of appetizers, wine and good times. Incorporating a theme into the party, like everyone wear red or white, is a great way to mix it up!

Secret Admirers Giving Session
Just like Secret Santa, you and a group of friends/family draw names and assign everyone a Valentine to give a gift to on V-Day.

Be a Tourist in Your Own Town
Use the day to visit museums, art galleries, restaurants or other points of interest in your city you haven’t been to yet! This will allow you to branch out from your usual go-to places and have a day filled with adventure. If you’re fairly new to Florida, this plan will help you become well acquainted with your town, so explore!

Take a Dance Class
Bust a move with your Valentine in a dance class of your choice: salsa, bachata, ballroom dancing, just to name a few. Who knows, it could become a regular activity for you and your special someone.

Outdoor Activity
If you enjoy the cool Florida weather during February, get some endorphins going and go on a scenic hike or a challenging bike ride. Reward yourself later that day by indulging in some Valentine’s Day treats.
