Design Center at the Westlake Sales Center

How to choose from hundreds of appealing design choices?

Each Minto community has an impressively appointed design center that includes colorful displays and hundreds of products and samples to facilitate the selection of finishing touches. A personalized plan, even down to furniture placement, can be created virtually at interactive stations located throughout the sales center.  With a simple click, the personalized plan can be saved for future viewing,

The design centers feature product categories that are grouped together to facilitate making selections for each area of the home. There is a flooring section, plumbing section, and lighting section.  Cabinets, countertops and backsplashes are grouped together so that buyers can efficiently pull samples to design their dream kitchen. Cabinets are displayed on the wall so that all available styles can be viewed. Once a cabinet style is selected, the cabinet door is opened to view all available colors for that style. Samples of granite and quartz countertop selections are displayed on pull-out shelves.

Individual design rooms are available for appointments and so that homebuyers can display their selections together and take photos.  A large supply of duplicate samples of products and finishes is maintained to ensure that desired samples are available when there are multiple design appointments in progress.

A personal Minto design representative will send an outline of what to expect prior to the design appointment, along with images of some of the many selections to help in preparing for the meeting. An appointment is scheduled and then the fun begins! Minto design specialists work with each customer to determine which design features are most important to the homeowner and then assist in the process of selecting their favorites.  Homeowners often bring inspirational photos of furniture and fabrics to the design appointment. Many call it their homework yet it is actually more like funwork as they select all of the special touches that will create their unique dream home!
