Westlake: A Growing City

In 2021, Westlake was named one of U.S. News & World Report’s 25 Popular Small Towns to live in the US. That’s pretty remarkable when you consider that the city was only founded in 2016!

Over the past six years, this vibrant new Palm Beach County community, developed by Minto Communities, has been rapidly growing with new homes, amenities, businesses and so much more.  Beautiful, new Minto single-family homes and luxurious estate homes, incredible resort-style amenities at the Westlake Adventure Park, a great school district and nearby attractions have all contributed to the growth in homes sales and interest from future homebuyers.

So what’s next? Here’s a look at the latest developments you can look forward to in Westlake, Palm Beach County’s fastest-growing city!

Construction is underway on the second phase of amenities at the exciting Westlake Adventure Park.  New amenities will include basketball courts, an adults-only lap pool, a multi-purpose building for events and a lawn area for outdoor gatherings.  These new spaces will complement the existing lagoon-style pool with tower water slide, splash pad, poolside concessions, BMX pump track, adventure playground, bocce ball courts, and event lawn with concert pavilion and food truck court.

In addition to all the splash-filled thrills and outdoor recreation at Westlake Adventure Park, families will soon be able to enjoy the all-new excitement of Adrenaline World, a 14.4-acre fun park that will feature indoor and outdoor entertainment. Indoor activities will include an arcade, virtual reality games, laser tag, a trampoline park, miniature golf and climbing structures. Party rooms will be available for birthdays and special events with food services available. Outside, guests will have a blast careening down the longest Go-Kart track in Florida as well as a small kids training track. A dinosaur park, splash pad, ropes course and cloud climb will complete the outdoor entertainment facilities.

Westlake residents will soon have convenient new services and exciting new dining spots to enjoy! The Shoppes of Westlake Landings will include Heartland Dental, Verizon Communications, Go Green Dry Cleaner and a fitness studio. New dining experiences will include Sauced BBQ and Whiskey Shack as well as a hamburger restaurant, smoothie shop and three popular restaurant chains. Next to The Shoppes of Westlake Landings, construction is underway on a Publix grocery store, a self-storage facility and a new 7-Eleven that includes South Florida’s first Laredo Taco restaurant.

In addition to these upcoming projects, Christ Fellowship Church has begun construction on a new 800-seat worship center.  A new service center for the Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s office was just opened in February 2022, where residents can obtain a driver’s license, apply for hunting and fishing licenses, register their boat or vehicle, along with many other services.  And late last year, Westlake’s first 7-Eleven opened, which features a take-out/dine-in restaurant, wine cellar with curated wines and a nitro cold-brew and iced tea bar.

Westlake’s first townhome neighborhood will feature 130 units from the brand new Bay Collection. The collection includes three distinct two-story floorplans—the Aventura, Brickell and Biscayne. These beautiful 3-4 bedroom homes offer luxury townhome living with features like a spacious master suite, private fenced-in backyard and covered lanai. Some plans include a first floor master suite, private guest suite or oversized kitchen island. Located next to the Westlake Adventure Park, this neighborhood is ideal for those who want to be near the excitement of these incredible amenities. Now available, the 4 new designer townhome models are open to tour by appointment.
