 Spell out your name

Look at this board, spell out your name, and there’s your workout! To change up your workout, try a new name everyday. Try using your kids, friends, or family. This is a great way to mix up your workout routine and use different muscles. Repeat two times for a more intense workout.

New outfit

workout outfitThis may sound crazy, but buying a new workout outfit can really help with your fitness! Dr. Jonathan Fader, sports psychologist for the New York Mets, says these findings hold up in real life. “When you put on new fitness gear, you begin to get into character like an actor putting on a costume for a performance,” says Fader. Go for a hike or a jog in your new workout outfit!

Rock climbing

This is the perfect exercise to try with a friend (or friends)! Look for a gym that offers rock climbing near you and try it out. You’ll use muscles in every part of your body. This is a great workout for those hard to reach muscles in your arms, back and legs. Plus, it’s a great way to spend some time with friends!

Boxing

If you look at any celebrity’s Instagram, they probably have an action shot of them boxing. Boxing is the new workout craze and for good reason! It’s a great way to get in your daily cardio and tone up your arms. Boxing is usually more efficient when you take a class with an instructor, so look up boxing gyms in your area (p.s. most gyms offer a free first class, so it’s definitely worth giving it a try)!
