1. Have a “Yes!” night!
This means that whenever your partner, or someone you meet that night, suggests something to do, you say yes! You may end up salsa dancing, or seeing a movie, but either way it is a great way to do something spontaneous.
2. Play Pub Trivia
Many restaurants and bars offer trivia during the week. This usually goes along with food and drink specials! Take a night out of your week to play trivia and test your partner’s knowledge.
3. Take a Weekend Trip
Find somewhere close to home and go on a weekend trip. It can be fun to explore somewhere close to you. Plus, it can inexpensive!
4. See a Comedy Show
Sometimes seeing a professional, or amateur comedy show is exactly what you need to bring a smile to your face. Check out your local theatre and see what kinds of shows they offer.
5. Go to a Drive-In Movie
Drive-in movies can be loads of fun! Pile blankets, pillows, and snacks into the trunk of your car and head to the drive-in. Plus, many drive-ins play all kinds of movies. Try going around Halloween time to see a classic scary movie, or during the summer to see “Grease”.
